He was born in Kırklareli in the year 1941. Graduated from İstanbul Technical University as Geological Engineer (MS) in 1965. Worked at dam constructions and mining explorations as geologist. Casted by the spell of water-color while studying among rocks and stones, the artist does not bother to search about the problematic of art itself, except reflecting the outer world reality. He uses the advantages of the water-color technique for showing on paper, his impressions of reality; thus he may be counted as an impressionist. As being retired now, he continues studying on his paintings. Had four individual exhibitions and participated in a mixed show up to this day. Married and has a daughter.
